Hi, I’m Cara... planner girl, paper lover, mom of six, and the creator behind The Hooting Pirate.

I’ve spent years juggling creative projects and creating Christmas magic, all the while keeping the household running while drowning under Christmas preparations, and I know what it’s like to feel invisible during the holidays like you’re doing everything for everyone else, and getting nothing but a housecoat in return.

I built Mrs Claus’ Secret Membership as the thing I needed: gentle guidance, cosy printables, and just enough structure to help women like us actually enjoy the season without losing ourselves in it.

It didn’t happen overnight, I earned my Christmas Queen crown the hard way: by wrapping gifts at midnight and burning out by December 17th. That’s why I plan early now, and why I created this space for you, too.

Frequently Asked Questions


When does the membership start and finish?
Right away! As soon as you join, you'll unlock the Welcome Module, along with all your planner and bonuses. The October module arrives on October 15 and new content drops monthly through January.
How long do I have access to the course?
You'll have access to everything through at least February 2026. Even though the final module is released in January, I know life gets busy (especially after Christmas), so I’m keeping the doors open well into the new year so you can catch up, review, or reuse the tools at your own pace.
What if I am unhappy with the course?
I truly hope this membership brings you more peace, clarity, and comfort through the holidays. But if you join and realise it's not for you, just send me an email within 7 days of purchase and I’ll refund your payment, no stress, no awkwardness.
Do I need to buy the Advent Calendar to join?

Is this a course? Will I fall behind?
No, this isn’t a course, there are no gold stars, no deadlines, and definitely no pressure to “keep up.” Everything is paced gently throughout the season, but you can dip in and out as needed. Whether you're prepping early in October or jumping in mid-November, you'll still find plenty of support to help the holidays feel easier. And even after December 25, you’ll still get the January module, designed to help you reset, reflect, and recover, so next Christmas season will be even more magical!
What if I can’t make the live Q&A calls?
No worries! Every call will be recorded and added to your membership hub so you can watch (or listen!) whenever it works for you. Some people come live and chat, others listen quietly later while folding laundry. You do you.
